Looney is a 4 yr old male Cocker Spaniel. He came to rescue from a local shelter. A woman dropped him and another Cocker off stating she could no longer care for either of them. During the evaluation I determind that the other Cocker was unable to be rescued due to an aggresive temperment. Looney on the other hand was scared but manageable. When I first got him home I had deemed him not good with children due to him being so timid and he seemd to become frightend easily. WELL,,,,since then Looney has become quite the favorite. Today he showed me a whole new side to him. At a petfair he was taken out to get some pictures and two children came up to him and he went right up to them and jumped up waiting to be petted. During his picture taking he wanted to climb into everybodies laps and be loved on. He has shown a great turn around since first arriving. He will still cry slightly when picked up but nothing like when I first got him. Right now it will take a little more confidence building by his new home and he will be a more amazing dog then he already is.
